This beautiful shooting star pendant features a fiery Australian Boulder Opal set in 14k yellow gold with a trail of Gibeon meteorite. The trail is hand carved from the meteorite and has been etched with nitric acid to reveal the characteristic patterns, or Widmanstatten figures, of iron meteorites. The pendant hangs from an 18k yellow gold bale that has been laser welded to the back of the meteorite and is on a single strand 14k yellow gold clasp. The pendant measures 35mm by 11mm.
